Dollar Dog Corner
The Dollar Dog Kids Club members enjoyed their own annual meeting with a Dollar Dog Circus! The kids enjoyed hotdogs, popcorn and cotton candy while being entertained by Dusti the Clown. Dusti tied balloons, involved the kids in a circus, performed magic tricks and shared the spotlight with Dollar Dog.
Coming up in April and May each member will receive their name in a drawing to win 1 of 2 season pass tickets to Splash Station in Cleburne. To earn additional chances in the drawing, just make a deposit of $5 or more to your Dollar Dog account. Every deposit adds another chance for your name to be drawn. The winners will be chosen by a random drawing on Friday, May 16th and the winners will be notified.
The Dollar Dog Kids Club is open to any child up to 12 years old. The club helps children learn about the fun of saving money. In addition to a new account gift when the account is opened, children are rewarded with paw punches each time they make a deposit of $5 or more. They can then use the punches to "buy" prizes from the prize cabinet located in each branch. Dollar Dog hosts several events and contests throughout the year for club members.
Annual Meeting
Thanks to everyone who attended the MCU Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 20 at the Cleburne Civic Center. We had over 80 members present at the meeting who enjoyed dinner and the door prize give-away. During the business meeting the following directors were re-elected to serve on the board of directors for another term: Lewis Isenberg, Greg Wilmore and Cleve Weyenberg, Jr. |
